  Design engineer

  Worked as Tool design engineer in the Manufacturing systems design department of Brakes India Private limited. Prime responsibilities included design of gauges and fixtures for the new products to be manufactured in-house.Tool modifications facilitating improvements in current process in terms of cost, ease of manufacturing, reduction in operator fatigue, improving the life of the tool were also done. The designing was done using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. Concepts of Design for Manufacturing were instilled by the constant feedback from in-house tool room.
