      Dec 2015 - now
      Executive Administrative Assistant

In my first year with DOHR, I led our agency's Wellness Council. I built a team of 14 employee volunteers, who assisted in leading over 40 events to improve health and wellness within the agency. This started a cultural change of improved health with our employees. DOHR won the 'Overall Award" that year, based on our overall points and final challenges. This award was the first and only time to be won by a small agency within the state.Over the last 2 years, I have partnered with my Assistant Commissioner working on a major initiative driving strategic HR to support agency goals, and streamlining processes to improve efficiencies and consistency in practices within the HR community across the state. I assisted in developing and maintained multiple presentations, spreadsheets, and other documents. I streamlined the scheduling and determined gaps, and potential risks and brought possible solutions pro-actively to the table to mitigate or minimize the identified risks. Show less
