  In my current job position I am responsible for the day to day running of construction sites from initial on site set up to completion. in this roll I am responsible for all matters of H&S on site, organisation for materials and labour and managing sub-contractors and company labour. Also I ensure that the work is completed within the project programme period and within budget. To date all of my contracts have consisted of new build social housing projects on sites of various sizes and specifications. these projects have been for major housing associations including GHA, Cube Housing association, Dunbritton Housing Association, Argyll Community Housing, Glen Oaks Housing association, Wheatley group, LAR housing and now currently working on a 6 storey high flatted development for the Home Group. Show less introduction to construction sites, brilliant induction meeting all the characters that make up the construction world that we all know 😊. tasked with painting the site fence on my very first day which I did at breakneck speed it resulted in my hands being covered in blisters 😕, ah the memories. from then I also had the honor of keeping the canteen kettle full and boiling hot, not easy with no running water on site and a gas calormander to heat it on 😮. going to the shops for the men ☺ left me richer every day with the "keep the change" comment.😀 great insight to starting in the construction industry.
