  1. As a Senior Regional Programs Officer, I support the Pacific Regional Office in managing USD11m annual portfolio comprising of approx. 40 projects being implemented in 7 Pacific Island Countries of Fiji, Vanuatu, Kiribati, Tonga, PNG, Solomon Islands, and Samoa to support the member states and partner countries in their fight against climate change. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, enhanced portfolio management, country team coordination, developing work program budgets, resource mobilization for the Pacific priority sectors, and securing climate finance for the Pacific member states and partner governments. 2. Project Manager for "Small Island Developing States Climate Action Program (SIDS-CAP)", a 5-year USD 5m regional program implemented in 20 countries (14 Pacific Island Countries & 6 Caribbean Countries) supported by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Key responsibilities - Project management, donor engagement, country coordination, work program budgeting, results reporting, financial management and strategic communication management. 3. Project manager for "Fiji Bamboo to adapt and mitigate climate change project", a 3-year USD400k project under the Low Emissions and Climate Resilient Development (LECRD) Phase-2 program supported by NZ MFAT and Ireland DFA. The project aims to develop an evidence-base, create an enabling environment and capacity development across the value-chain to promote the use of Fijian bamboo as a resilient, innovative, sustainable and affordable construction system. Key responsibilities - project management, Govt. & stakeholder coordination, leading team in results delivery, coordinating technical studies, financial management and strategic communication to raise the profile of bamboo.4. Supported the development of Fiji Green Home Builders Manual and Fiji Green Building Scorecard under LECRD Phase 1, and Green building assessment of 2 resettlement villages in Tonga remotely from Kigali, Rwanda. Show less 1. Led the green building vertical of GGGI Rwanda program that I had the privilege of developing from scratch with support from the team. Spearheaded the development of Rwanda's mandatory green building standard "Green Building Minimum Compliance System (GBMCS)" in collaboration with Rwanda Housing Authority, BCA Singapore, Rwanda Green Building Organization & stakeholders. Trained over 300 professionals on the implementation of the GBMCS. 2. Project manager for "Setting up a Super ESCO (Energy Services Company) in Rwanda as a vehicle to promote energy efficiency", a USD200k project funded by Korean government. Mobilized USD1m in additional TA for the Government of Rwanda to establish and operationalize a Super ESCO facility in collaboration with the AfDB. 3. Project manager for "Greening the terminal building at the New Kigali International Airport", a USD400k project implemented in collaboration with ATL Rwanda with an aim to achieve the first green building certification for a large infrastructure project in the region. 4. Led the assessment of business and delivery models of Green City Kigali (GCK), a flagship green urbanization project of the Rwanda Green Fund5. Led the development of Mitigation Action Facility (MAF) USD25m concept note for transforming the clay value chain in Rwanda through the development of Eco-Industrial Parks (EIPs) with a mitigation potential of 0.5MtCO2e in collaboration with SKAT Rwanda. 6. Africa Regional lead for the Green Buildings & Industries Community of Practice (COP). Led the review of Uganda's National Building Code to include green building requirements and developed Cote d'Ivoire draft green building standards.7. Green Building Technical Advisor for Saint Lucia Resilient & Green Affordable Housing project implemented under GCF Readiness. Led the delivery of technical and financial pre-feasibility and supported the socio-economic assessment of beneficiaries. The outputs led to the finalization of GCF Concept Note. Show less 1. Embedded staff of GGGI in Rwanda Housing Authority (RHA) to support the development of Rwanda Green Building Minimum Compliance System in collaboration with MININFRA, BCA Singapore, RwGBO and stakeholders. Provided technical assistance to RHA to strategize the approval and implementation of the compliance system. Conducted awareness raising sessions to disseminate the benefits of the compliance system to construction industry stakeholders. 2. Initiated the development of green building minimum compliance template/calculator that is aimed to assist the project teams to comply with the requirements of the compliance system and govt. staff to verify the level of compliance. 3.
