  As part of the Video Operations team, provides the opportunity to install, configure and administer a number of TV-related systems, and to deal with a number of suppliers during installation and commissioning of systems, upgrades and troubleshooting. Mainly includes: - Administer the video network to be used efficiently on all 3 platforms - DTTV, IPTV and OTT; with minimal downtime, including RF DAs and satellite dishes, receivers/decoders, encoders/transcoders, scrambling systems, multiplexers, SDI/ASI routers and audio mixers, D/A converters and analysers - GO channels playout operations and system - Test and commission new STB models and firmware - configure and administer the IP data and management network within the TV Headend, including operating different routers, switches, ACLs, Load-Balancers and firewalls. - configure and support the management systems and streaming equipment, including conditional access solutions, IPTV Middleware and fast-channel change, playout/ingest/CG system, EPG systems, web and private streaming servers. - ensure availability of a high level of redundancy across the whole network, periodic backups, detailed logging and documentation - develop and enhance support tools, and provide technical support to the daily operations to fellow colleagues within the team - Lead the Headend Technicians team & content coordinator, mainly in overseeing operational duties Show less
