  Role: Nishith’s role was to guide the high caliber teams ( Wipro and Client) at each step of the program, right from Scope water-tighting , Design decisions and closures , Solution prototype build and Demo, consistent course correction and eventually sign off. This program was the biggest Automation program of Wipro.Context: Corporates in USA lose millions of dollars every year due to benefits and pension provided to ineligible dependents / beneficiaries. Widespread differences in formats of the documents made the problem grimmer. Our solution changed current time consuming and error prone manual validation process provided by my Client to Corporates, into end to end automated solution leveraging Cloud / AI / ML technologies.Key Solution componentsWe provided robust and scalable, Cloud based Intelligent Document Processing solution that helped solve the problem with AI driven cognitive processing of documents for automated verification. • A reusable Common pipeline using Java, Python and open source libraries, to support ingestion, digitization and processing of the documents. • Document Classifier (key part of the solution as different document types had different logic to process ) • Extraction of key attributes using Deep Learning based NLP & Computer Vision algorithms• Pre-processor, Classifier , Extractor were the key BOTs among many others , created using Python • Cognitive models training using document labelling and Python on AWS training Servers.• REST API’s were developed in Java Spring Boot to communicate between the layers of the solution and external applications Technology: Wipro HOLMES framework, Java , Python, REST APIs, Java Spring Boot, Open Source librariesBusiness BenefitsSolution brought potential saving of millions of dollars , for Alight’s clients, that are lost Employee health plans and Defined contribution plans due to ineligible beneficiaries. Application provides visibility of machine health and shares machine data with Authorized personnel.• The predictive capability of the platform helps all stake holders to collaborate in ensuring operational availability of the asset whereby maximizing the value derived from it.
