  In 1994, Jim formed Platania Financial Inc., where he provides wealth management and retirement planning services to individuals nearing and/or already retired. Jim believes one should benefit from a diverse range of investment options, taking both strategic and tactical approaches. He also believes - regardless what’s happening in the market - one does not need to take excessive risks in working to pursue their long-term goals.Since early on in his career, Jim focused in providing retirement and investment management to his clients. Jim was an invited speaker at the Personal Economic Summit held in October of 1993 in Washington D.C., where he addressed legislators, educators and the media on how Americans should save and invest for the future. Jim has also conducted retirement seminars for major corporations such as Motorola, Quaker Oats, ADP Corporation, American Dental Association and Universal Oil Products (UOP).Dedicated to providing exemplary service to his clients, Jim routinely communicates with them on all important changes regarding retirement and estate planning, investment allocation, and tax planning.
