      Jun 2011 - Sept 2012
      Industrial Hygiene Representative

The primary goal of Environmental Compliance Management Corporation is to provide our clients with the highest quality professional environmental services available. Our firm is committed to quality and professionalism in the areas of Training, Environmental Consultation, and Laboratory Analysis. As a project monitor on a job site I work side by side with contractors, supervisors, and engineers on various environmental projects. I also oversee the scope, timing, phasing, and remediation methods on asbestos abatement projects. Another one of my tasks while on a job site is to understand and interpret all rules and regulations including Industrial Code Rule-56, OSHA, and AHERA.As an asbestos building inspector I perform pre-renovation, pre-demolition, and AHERA building surveys. During these surveys it is my job to identify, assess, quantify, and sample suspect asbestos containing building materials. After completing the survey a report must be assembled. Using AutoCAD I put together floor plan drawings of the subject building(s) that were surveyed including sample location drawings and positive materials drawings. Show less

    • MilliporeSigma

      Dec 2012 - now

While working with EMD Millipore I must maintain a detailed knowledge on a variety of purification techniques such as micro-filtration, reverse-osmosis, electro-deionization, and UV filtration. Most of my day to day activities involve speaking with customers, diagnosing and troubleshooting these water purification systems that may be having issues. Most of our customers are hospitals, medical centers, universities and laboratories. Each water system services a very unique and most often very import service for our customers. Our clinical customer often use our systems to feed clinical grade analyzers. These analyzers serve very important purposes and often lives are on the line when not operating properly. It can be very stressful and high paced when one of these customers is in desperate need of our help but it is our job to get them up and running again no matter what hour of the day they call in.
