      Activities and Societies: None Upon completing my OCR Nat Cert Info Tech i moved onto the Level 3 course which i completed. At this time, the college attempted to persuade me to follow the IT route at University, but I felt a need to get out of education and start earning.

      Activities and Societies: None During my time at The Co-operative Academy we were asked on two occasions to attend a work experience program at a number of local businesses, on both of these occasions I decided to attend a local travel agency during my time there my duties often included me assisting in increasing the stores sales and figures, To do this I got to decide which window display would benefit particular areas to which sales needed to improve. I was also trusted to operated the companies internal computer systems… Show more During my time at The Co-operative Academy we were asked on two occasions to attend a work experience program at a number of local businesses, on both of these occasions I decided to attend a local travel agency during my time there my duties often included me assisting in increasing the stores sales and figures, To do this I got to decide which window display would benefit particular areas to which sales needed to improve. I was also trusted to operated the companies internal computer systems and help make payment altercations to client holiday bookings. The placements also helped me improve me customer service skills as I also interacted with the consumers who used the store, to help them find information about a certain destination.This experience led me to select the "Travel and Tourism" course as I wanted to increase my knowledge in this industry.       As a Sales Engineer my role involved combing technical knowledge with sales skills. The emphasis of the work varied depending on the level of technical knowledge and understanding needed to sell competently the product and service offered and respond effectively to clients' queries and requests. Clients were usually technical engineers, project leaders and project buyers. Ensured clients' needs were met, liaising regularly with other members of the sales team and colleagues from a range of departments, such as procurement, design, production, and quality, and senior company managers/directors.
