      Security guard

As a security guard for preschools, high schools, and synagogues, I am able to adapt quickly in any type of presented situation. I search baggage's to ensure no weapons or bombs enter the area. I also patrolled any assigned sites to ensure the safety of the people and assets. I also served as a deterrent for any latent crimes due to me being the first person any person saw before they enter the establishment.

      Auxiliary police officer

An Auxiliary Police Officer (APO) in New York City is charged with helping community relations with the police department, while helping officers complete both major and minor tasks. APO's follow any orders given by higher ups to either direct/redirect traffic, detain possible or known perpetrators, patrol streets to act as a deterent to crimes, etc. We do this and more while equipped with a bullet-resistant vest, fully uniformed, and with police radios, all after a 3 (could take up-to 6) month para-military training course. Paraprofessional

As a paraprofessional, I am placed in classrooms in any school within the Bronx district, tasked with aiding a student, or a classroom of students to learn better. I'm constantly tasked with adapting to a new child's needs, whether it'd be a behavioral problem (crisis management), or an educational problem (which umbrellas over a variety of possible cases). These aren't the only possibilities, since new cases are changing as, just as the protocols and classroom environments do.
