  I work as a Student Manager at Denison's Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts to oversee student performances, communicate with the stage technicians and performers, and offer assistance in case of an emergency to provide a safe, enjoyable, and efficient performance experience.As a staff member, I scan tickets at the entrance, provide answers if questions arise, welcome patrons, guide them to seats, and provide aid if any extra assistance is required. In this role, I managed data by recording and updating sample measurements, dates, and other information, and scanning work and data logs to ensure accessibility and accuracy.Additionally, I worked to prep and process sediment samples with a sonicator, stopping and diluting the sample as necessary to disaggregate grain sizes. Some additional minor responsibilities included assisting with general maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of lab space. At Denison's Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts, I work alongside other outreach coordinators to increase the visibility of performing arts on campus by managing a social media account, planning small events, and promoting the arts at campus events. We aim to engage the student community further, increase buy-in and attendance at concerts and events, and foster a stronger sense of community.
