  • Perform multi-functional role in planning, organizing, and management of complex high voltage construction projects.• Assist in all aspects of project management including the preparation of project estimates, procuring materials, issuing subcontracts, attending pre-bid, and other project progress meetings.• Assist with planning and coordination of manpower, equipment, tools, and supply needs within the Electric Power Division to meet or exceed client objectives. Works directly with union hiring hall as appropriate.• Assist in the establishment of project objectives, costs, timelines, budgets, policies, performance expectations, and safety standards. Monitors adherence to all of the above through site visits, project progress reports, performance evaluations, safety meetings, and working closely with field crew supervision.• Monitors and assesses maintenance and safeguarding of equipment, tools and supplies.• Manages administrative aspects of contracts (change orders, fee payments, rental equipment, time sheet coding, billing, expenses, etc.) by working closely with administrative staff, project managers, and manager of Fleet Operations.• Conduct new hire orientation, subcontractor site safety orientation training, and manage and coordinate with Hooper crews and subcontractors.• Review plans and specifications, generate project schedules, and ensure quality control compliance.• Prepare and submit reports and forms for quality assurance/quality control.• Visits job sites to review and document progress of overhead line, substation, and underground crews on projects.• Assist with reviewing field reports and approving vendor invoices.• Acts as a liaison between Hooper and clients and also between the field and the office. • Assist in the process of releasing completed project to the full satisfaction of the client and resolves any job closeout items. • Responsible for saving and filing appropriate job information.
