      I worked as a research intern in Jianyang Zeng's Lab at Tsinghua University.During this period, I focused on machine learning and computational biology.I predicted drug side effects from heterogeneous network data using compact feature learning.And I also took part in a COVID-19 therapeutic agent project.

      As a research intern at UCLA, I cooperated with Prof.Jae Hoon Sul and Ph.D. student Albert Lee to build an atopic dermatitis classifier based on genomics data.Key Achievements :- Extracted transcriptome data from raw data with 40000+ genes, labeled data based on severity of AD, and selected primary ones using feature selection method, integrated by RFE, chi-squared test and other tools- Built a self-adaptable model to classify if a person has a higher risk of having atopic dermatitis by ML models such as XGBoost, logistic regression, and support vector machine.F1 score of test sets reached 0.98 Show less
