      In Dreamplaces I started in the front office for obtaining mine Spanish skills, knowledge of Front office. During this period I had to handle complaints in Spanish, English, Dutch and I had to try to understand German, Italian, Portugues. For the first weeks was it a lot and mine level of mine languages was not so high as I expected. This was the first time that I worked with Opera the reservation, booking program.With entertainment I was responsible for the kids and the program after I filled in the whole day with aqua gym ( samba/Arabic/normal ) ,bingo, theme parties.       Front office

      In Crowne Plaza I have gotten the opportunity to work with celebrities as well with business and leisure guests. Also I had to provide information to the standards of the hotel. We have gotten a book with the jargon that we had to say. The book gave the opportunity to provide the guest the same information. In the hotel we got several courses to obtain our skills like safety and security, course of selling, bom training, cross training etc.

      In Golden Tulip I was waiter as well I provided the service for Banqueting. Ones we had to provide the service on a different location because of an anniversary. Further I had to provide information of different kind of dishes that we had in the restaurant for groups as for individual.

      In this department I had the roll of a waiter as well for barman, Roomservices, Banqueting. During this period I obtain mine level of Spanish as well the knowledge of Food and Beverage. I worked on flexible hours. The different between the night shift and the morning shift was that I had to know the different kind of wines and working with four plates. During this period there were some banqueting events as well like a wedding were we served the guests as well for conference meetings etc. In the Bar I got to know some different kind of cocktails like, mojito, white rusian,cosmopolitan etc. Voir moins

      Revenue and reservations

      In this department I picked up the phone, made reservations on several ways. When the occupancy was high I had to increase the price if there was a low occupancy I had to decrease the price. I had to make offers for guests by phone, email in a little bit of French otherwise English, Spanish or Dutch. I obtain in Hotel Metropole the skills for Revenue management. When you do reservations you have to convince the guest for getting a better room, upselling. Upselling was also possible true selling the breakfast, restaurant etc. Voir moins

      This hotel was my final internship where I did food and beverage management. During the internship I worked with the manager and the operational team. The manager learned me how to organise and what you have to do during the day. The responsibilities that you have as manager. In the operational part of the internship I worked like an alround waiter for roomservice till banqueting. In banqueting I was responsible for guests who had a meeting. This company served little dishes to share with the partners on the table.The way you talk is the way you sell the products. In this company I felt like a salesman because of the fact that you have to sell the products to the guests and try to convince the guest for buying the product.
