  As the Employability Skills Development Manager at Cardiff Met, I use my interpersonal and relationship-building skills to influence strategic employability developments within the curriculum, working closely with employers, academics, professional staff and students to drive forward skills development across the university. I manage the Employer Services Team and lead on the new employability initiative, Shape Your Future, responsible for raising awareness of the SYF initiative and the platform to encourage student and staff engagement. I support the Employer Services Team to provide opportunities for students and employers to connect through activities such as employer workshops, events and pop-ups.
