  I manage all social media accounts for my university's law society. Having been the first designated social media rep of the society, I have set myself very high expectations. I started managing the Twitter account with only about 180 followers which has now grown by over 100%. The Facebook group is more active than ever, and I have also created our own Instagram and Snapchat to maintain engagement across different platforms. Thanks to my efforts, LawCareers.Net have nominated our society for an award for 'Best Social Media' which I am incredibly proud of. I also ensure our members are aware of our achievements and updates by writing them emails several times a month. Show less

  I undertook an internship at the charity to complete a project involving the research on new salary sacrifice/flexible benefit schemes for the charity to implement. The end result was a written report detailing the types of schemes available, a comparison of different providers, cost breakdowns, as well as context explaining the wellbeing benefits for employees. In order to complete the report, I required current knowledge of tax law such as the Optional Remuneration Agreements, as well as benchmarking of what other similar charities were doing in the area.I also surveyed the employees of the charity to understand which benefits would be most helpful for the different age groups, so that a range of benefits would be inclusive.The internship was fulfilling for me, as I gained experience in various employee benefits including pensions, different tax breakdowns, as well as increased knowledge into the operations of a charity.
