  Associate business manager

  As the associate business manager, I have to wear many hats. My responsibilities are spread between the Cincinnati, Nashville, and, less frequently, Holland location.Design: Create custom designs and art proposals for internal projects and customers with a focus on labels and packaging. Work with outside design firms to complete digital marketing plans, including the Vietti website rebranding.Food Photography: Produce original food photography for company owned and customer brands. This includes the planning and execution of the photography session, as well as the completion of post work. I have also coordinated sessions with outside providers, including: sourcing, budgeting, scheduling, and art direction.Regulation: Follow and apply current and changing regulations from the USDA, FDA, and CFIA. Review and explain labels and packaging information to insure compliance and communicate effectively to teams, customers, and consumers. Develop internal review forms for labels and packaging to ensure correct nutrition, claims, and regulation. Submit labels and questions to FSIS and LSAS.Project Management: Manage project life cycles and project phases depending on the work required. Have heavy involvement in planning and execution to transfer projects to operations. Coordinate with sales, R&D, QA, purchasing, printers, and customers to complete projects and phases.Events: Plan and coordinate the annual trade show (PLMA) and other individual events.
