      Activities and Societies: Community engagement and volunteered in organizing the HDR Engineering and Science Students’ conference at Flinders University in 2021. I was a volunteer Farsi language teacher from 2020 to 2022. I am playing Volleyball, and Chess. I am reading and writing. A dedicated and accomplished researcher with a track record of ground-breaking achievements in materials science and nanotechnology. I was honoured with the highly competitive and prestigious Wine Australia research award from Dr Tony Jordan OAM, focusing on photocatalytic winery wastewater treatment. Adept in utilizing a range of advanced analytical techniques such as XPS, XRD, SEM, TGA, BET, EDS, UV-Vis, FTIR, DRS etc. to characterize materials and explore their sustainability for vital applications like water treatment and water splitting reactions. Skilled in monitoring and supervising an honour student researcher, fostering collaboration in the synthesis of efficient semiconductors and photocatalytic systems.       -Synthesised and characterised advanced mesoporous nanomaterials and nanoclusters as the novel semiconductors for photocatalysis, energy, and environmental applications including photocatalytic hydrogen production, industrial dye degradation, and winery wastewater treatment.-Pioneered the synthesis of Au nanoclusters in Australia, developed novel semiconductors and photocatalytic systems, and conducted extensive research on cost-effective and large-scale photocatalytic degradation of industrial pollutants.- Surface chemistry and analysis, including the interaction between dyes used in textile and cosmetic industries with the co-catalyst/photocatalyst's surfaces. -Conducted high-precision spectroscopy and material analysis using XPS, XRD, FTIR, GC, SEM, EDS, BET, TGA, and UV-Vis.-Published six research papers in reputed Q1 journals and presented findings at international conferences.-Secured research funding (Wine Australia Award) for a photocatalytic wastewater treatment project.-Supervised Honors and postgraduate students, training them in advanced material synthesis and characterisation.-Collaborated with international research teams to optimise semiconductor materials for photocatalytic hydrogen production and environmental remediation. Show less I have supervised the Flinders summer research scholarship student in the "Nano Clusters for Fabrication of Solar Fuels" project title. In this project, we made a functionalized mesoporous semiconductor (TiO2) substrate, deposited Gold clusters onto the surfaces, characterized the surface by using the XPS (X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy), XRD (X-ray powder diffraction), and DRS (Diffuse reflectance spectroscopy), and did the photocatalytic reactions in water splitting and dye degradation by following the reactions using the Gas chromatography (GC) and UV-Vis (Ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy), respectively.
