  I have been working closely with the Town of DeWitt as both the communications consultant and as a project manager on a number of key town projects. I managed the creation and execution of a new town website; at over 200 pages, it was a complex project. From selection of vendor and overall design, through ensuring the final text and photography was both accurate and engaging, I oversaw every aspect of the project. I also redeveloped the town newsletter, expanding it from a recreation programming flier to a comprehensive communication vehicle that provides residents and businesses an across the board update on all town projects, departmental news and updates, staff changes, meeting schedules, committee and commission information, services schedules, etc.I have also been integrally involved in the development of DeWitt’s $15.8 million Carrier Park recreation facility, provicing both project management and communications support over; everything from facilitating special events, generating consistent marketing and public relations communications and two NJCAA national championship tournaments, to COVID supplies distribution, project management for Phase 2 playground and basketball courts, and working closely with the town’s tournament vendor via a public-private partnership. I served as an Interim Department head in 2022, guiding staff through the planning and facilitation of DeWitt’s most popular and valued resident programs.Throughout the planning, conceptualization, and facilitation of these projects, I supported the Supervisor and various staff as an advisor, providing constructive guidance, as well as creating myriad communications to local, state, and federal government officials. I also created innumerable articles on topics/issues from watersheds and assessments, to a hydrogen power project for Senator Schumer’s office and materials promoting the development and functioning of the town’s solar array and natural bird habitat.
