  I worked at this community sports facility from the age of 16 when first employed as a lifeguard. Initially operated by Tewkesbury Borough Council, the facility is now operated by the Greenshaw Learning Trust. Through the years I have worked as a casual employee in the role of Lifeguard, Play scheme leader, Swimming Teacher and Duty Manager.

  As an actor I have had the pleasure of performing in a variety of productions both on screen and on stage. Theatre tours have taken me across the UK and also on to the continent. On screen I have had experience of commercial and television productions.

  I was initially tasked with overseeing the organisation of an annual Cheltenham Triathlon. I then created, designed and implemented of a variety of new sporting events which include the Pied Piper Junior Aquathlon, Devil’s Aquathlon, Brass Monkey Swim, Sunrise Swim, Nightswimmer and Dog Swim. As well as being hands on while these events took place, publicity, PR, marketing and financial reconciliation also formed a key aspect of the role. I grew the participation in the Cheltenham Triathlon from 350 participants in 2008 to a capacity of 780. My decision to offer the Dog Swim on the final day of the lido season in 2016 generated an additional £5K income for the charitable trust. The Pied Piper Junior Aquathlon has enabled children aged 8-16 to experience the sport of triathlon with 270 taking part in 2017. The success of these events has helped to promote and encourage the use of the lido facility as well as opening up a range of sporting activities to a wider sector of the community.
