  Graduation Project: Design and manufacturing of the final test mount of Volvo car engine piston cooling jet.The aim of this work was to ensure the compliance of the testing mechanism of the piston cooling jet for Volvo car engines which typically presented geometrical irregularities during the calibration phase. This testing mechanism simulated the oil pressure inside the piston of a car engine to test the quality and functionality of piston cooling jets after manufacturing- I Identified the main source of these irregularities using Ishikawa method. I focused primarily on the design drawings and the controllable parameters such as dimensional and geometrical tolerances and specifications.- Implemented machining range for the manufacturing plan of the different parts of the testing mechanism based on the design drawings (Mastercam).Result: All geometrical compliance targets for the functional parts of the testing mechanism were attained.
