      A national level award (NSERC) to help fund my Summer undergraduate project researching the development of a radiochromic film for a real-time and self-calibrating dosimeter, which can be used for example during administration of brachytherapy treatment. I was co-supervised by Dr. Ozzy Mermut, PhD and Dr. Alexandra Rink, PhD, CCPM. Here my poster presentation won first prize at the NSERC Summer Undergraduate Research Conference 2019. Representing YorkU during various open-house events discussing the faculty of Science and in particular my program to prospective students. Volunteer tutor in all first year and second year undergraduate Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics (and some computer science). Only students having achieved at least an A in the considered courses and passed an extensive interview process are eligible to volunteer. I developed study material consisting of review presentations, different types of review questions and assisted the professor (Dr. Randy Lewis) during tutorials.
