  Lumishore are small but fast growing underwater lighting company based in Swansea, they Design and Manufacture high quality lighting for prestige companies such as Sunseaker and Princess yachts. I initially started work with the company as a Manufacturing and Supply Chain Consultant, but due to changes within the company, I was contracted into the role of Operations Manager. I was responsible 8 staff to ensure we met the “customer firm order plan” by organising and maximising manufacturing output using the Lean Manufacturing Philosophy. I set up new suppliers for key commodities such as PCB’s and Machined parts to get a “best fit” solution that would fit a fluctuating Lumishore order profile, both commodities where set up on Kanban directly from the suppliers.
