Working closely with the QA team in identifying environment/code issues and opening a CMC to resolve the issues. Creating Team Project Collections and managing the Project Collections. Security setup and provide Access Rights to users based on their role on the individual Team Projects. Creating Branches whenever required and merging the branches as per the request from development teams. Trouble shooting the TFS issues like Code Merging, Visual Studio issues, MTM issues, Security issues. Complete end-to-end Application lifecycle Management for over 1300 of Dell’s internal IT projects. I oversee the security/configuration and management of complete version control, ALM for all custom development projects in Dell. My role involves customizing process templates, work item tracking, TFS default and custom reporting, Auto Build configurations, deployment of binaries/bits to different environments like DIT, SIT, UAT, Prod etc. Configuration of Lab Management, Test Manager, Virtual machines for TFS Build 2010, writing build definitions based on environment, use of different deployment tools, branching/merging strategy as per project needs (Specifically in Waterfall and Agile methodology plus customize the Default templates to Dell’s Traditional development standards) My role also involves overseeing the security, working on Active Directory groups, database backups in SQL server 2014, Configuring Agile Portfolio management and Backlog/Kanban boards for individual team projects. For Sharepoint 2010/2013, Analysis services, SSRS 2010 – includes setting up DR (disaster recovery) servers, regular backups, health check (BPA tool from Microsoft) and analysis of report, error logs and assigning tasks to Software Analysts who work with me.
