  Senior frontend developer histac project

  As a Senior Frontend Developer on the HISTAC project, I contributed to building the OpenMRS HIV Reference Implementation (OHRI) app, which runs on top of the OpenMRS platform. The frontend is built using React with TypeScript, and we leveraged the OpenMRS REST API along with the FHIR Restful API for seamless interoperability. The OHRI app is deployed in health facilities across Uganda, Kenya, Namibia, and Ethiopia.Key Responsibilities:- Developed responsive and cross-browser-compatible user interfaces, adhering to UI/UX design specifications.- Implemented performance optimization techniques to ensure smooth application performance.- Wrote unit and end-to-end (E2E) tests to maintain high software reliability and quality.- Provided user training for the developed modules to ensure smooth adoption and usage.- Created comprehensive documentation for frontend components and workflows, enabling team members to effectively understand and maintain the system.
