      Chief Operating Officer / Managing Partner

      Provides the oversight and leadership for all aspects of the Texas Star Ambulance Operations, including the departments of Field Operations, Communications, Deployment/System Status Management, Information Technology, and Support Services. Emphasis is placed upon achieving operational performance and financial objectives while conducting oneself consistent with the vision and mission values of Texas Star. The COO will be a direct report to the Executive Director and will work collaboratively with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and others in assessing organizational performance against both the annual budget and Texas Star’s long-term strategy. The COO will provide effective and inspiring leadership by being actively involved in all programs and services, developing a broad and deep knowledge of all programs and ensuring a positive working relationships within Texas Star, its Board of Directors, committees and other stakeholders. The COO will be expected to lead, coach, develop, and retain Texas Star’s high-performance senior management team with an emphasis on developing capacity in strategic analysis and planning and program budgeting.
