      Highlight: Awarded Pre-Placement offer (PPO)Worked With WLAN team and conducted a study on reducing compressed Beamforming overhead in WLAN PHY systems. The overhead generated by Transmit Beamforming due to feedback of CSI was studied in case of Uncompressed and Compressed Beamforming. A solution (Setup as well as algorithm) was proposed to reduce the overhead by adapting CSI feedback process in 802.11ac. Performance and Airtime reduction of the proposed system was analysed using WLAN toolbox in MATLAB. Show less
