  • Experience

    • A*STAR - Institute of Chemical and Engineering Sciences

      Apr 2018 - Aug 2018
      Research Intern

The study aimed to optimise a novel inhalable drug formulation for lung infection to achieve good aerosol deposition and high dissolution rates. After preparing the spray-dried samples, I investigated particle morphology, particle size distribution and drug uniformity of the samples through characterisation tests using scanning electron microscope (SEM), laser diffraction and UV-VIS spectroscopy. On top of that, I examined in-vitro aerosol performance, in-vitro release profile and antifungal activities of the spray-dried formulations. I successfully determined three optimised formulations at the end of the internship. Show less
