      - Carried out independent research titled ‘Delivery of Payloads into Red Blood Cells’ under the supervision of Dr Rongjun Chen. - Investigated the relationship between various cell conditions and external variables on the effectiveness of the polymer and optimising the production of ghost cells.- Familiarised with the working environments of technical and biological laboratories and also the tools involved such as centrifuges, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, confocal microscopy and etc. - Produced positive and encouraging results in a relatively unknown topic which will enable future detailed works to be conducted.       -Conducted the identification of amino acid residues responsible for function of PIEZO1 Ca2+ channels.-Analysed and carried out cell culture on human C2C12 cells, polymerase chain reaction, plasmid formation and amplification, and calcium measurements in human myoblasts.-Presented research findings at two scientific symposiums (University of Tokyo and Kyoto University).
