      Jun 1999 - Aug 1999
      Information technology intern

While at NIST I was responsible of Y2K upgrades for the IT systems deployed in laboratories and training rooms. I was also charged with general network debug and desktop support for PC's on the site.

    • Motorola

      May 2000 - Aug 2000
      Physical vapor deposition intern

Responsible for analyzing PVD processes and methodologies to improve quality and reduce cost through statistical analysis and design of experiments.

    • Seagate technology

      Jun 2001 - Aug 2001
      Product engineering intern

Develop applications to assist with remote failure analysis of storage devices and perform failure analysis on product issues with hard disk storage devices.

    • Precision photonics

      Jan 2002 - Mar 2002
      Manufacturing and automation designer

Design, automate, and improve existing processes for creating telecommunications optical equipment using statistics and general engineering principles.

    • Seagate technology

      Mar 2002 - now

Part of a team guiding technology and development efforts for storage testing at Seagate Technology. Design test process software archetecture and feature-sets to optimize and establish content on hard disc drives. Implement embedded firmware to efficiently interact with disc drive systems and optimize test processes. I was responsible to provide failure analysis and yield improvement plans for hard drive programs during design and production. During this position I also provided software development for automated electrical analysis and statistical analysis of failed hard drives.
