      Responsible for managing the Medicaid Program. * Handled monthly pre-authorizations through HMBS and any others (new clients) as needed through HMBS and/or TMHP. * Entered all Medicaid counseling, treatment planning, etc. billing into methware for 60-70 clients per month. Checked billing units monthly to assure counseling, etc. are being performed regularly by all Medicaid counselors. Transferred billing received from UnitedHealthcare. Re-billed rejected or denied claims (from bill codes manager) weekly. * Routinely followed up on expired Medicaid status on clients transitioning to private pay as needed. Managed all private pay clients to assure weekly/daily fees were paid in full. * Oversaw the scanning of all discharged patients and moving files to electronic form.* Responded to records requests, subpoenas, as medical records administrator. Audited 350 records per year. Tracked the location of records and relocating records.
