  - Worked within the Accounts Payable group within Comwave Finance, alongside a team of experienced accountants and analysts.- Entered vendor invoices into the ERP/Accounting system, including the associated HST inputs, so that the company can claim them back from CRA. It was a manual and tedious process, however vitally important as vendors need to be paid on time. Accuracy was paramount to ensure invoices were not overpaid and that the associated HST inputs were done correctly.- Became comfortable and confident working on Quickbooks software to manage accounts payable and also enhanced my proficiency using Microsoft Excel. - Participated in an environmental program to migrate legacy billing customers to E-billing. This process required placing several thousands of calls to Comwave's current customers to walk them through the new plan. This was, at times, a challenging pitch as many customers prefer to stay with the traditional physical copy billing system. Show less
