      Activities and Societies: Design Committee head, organised few events like Christmas, annual fest. Learnt playing volleyball, basketball from of a few friends of mine. Apart from academics, I learned about quite a few new cultures around there. As people from various states and backgrounds join there they carry those cultures and thought processes with them. I enjoy learning about them and making acquaintances as long as I was there as they teach me how can I adapt myself if I get posted to any of their areas in the future. The main project is the application of lean in infrastructure, industrial, and real-estate. The project includes an analysis of a questionnaire survey using spss tool. and interview of a few respondents for deeper knowledge in the field like barriers, motivation factors and site conditions etc..       Activities and Societies: Apart from academics I was a member at Kreative Eye(KIIT Decoration Committee) and later got to lead in a few events over the tenure. Practised Swimming on campus Swimming Pool and continued it for a few months before stopping on a regular basis. The Final Year Project was Soil Stabilisation using lime. We were a group of 4 members. The tests like Atterberg Limits, Standard Proctor were tested of various types of soils and the results before and after the mix were noted and compared. We learned from our guide, how much percentage of these lime is permissible in actual site conditions (Maximum around 5% for Pavements).       The internship was in the 2nd year of Btech, so it was hard to grasp every detail about site layout, plan, risks, etc... But I was very enthusiastic in gathering as much info as I can, so learned various things related to beam and column reinforcements, what were chairs, and why were the provided a few types of shuttering used commonly and it all seemed new. As the processes seemed too dangerous for manual work. During this time we got an overview and industrial exposure of how that steel plant works. What are the raw materials, where they mostly come from, and what are the finished goods and semi-finished goods processed in the factory?       Worked on DMRC sites as Jr. Engineer, as the projects were on their finishing stage and the engineers and labours were mostly shifted to another site. I was the sole in charge of all civil works like operation and maintenance during that period. The site includes 3 connecting stations so I was given a time period by the project manager to complete the pending work, including all measurements, billing and talking to suppliers, etc. Once things were over few other problems came in like seepage of underground water, power surge, theft, complaints by locals about damage caused to their houses during the construction phase or by seismic waves caused while the metro operations. The solutions provided were temporary, as the project was a few months delay than the due date of handover. Even insurance was about to get over. Before I got shifted among three stations one was pending but was in a standstill as there were frequent problems coming up regarding work order, payments from clients and labour shortages.
