2008 - 2015I completed both my A level, in 2015, and GCSEs, in 2013, at Bingley Grammar. At A level, I obtained an A* in Economics, an A in Mathematics, an A in Geography, as well as an A in AS Physics.At GCSE, I obtained 14 GCSEs A*-B, including an A* in Mathematics and English Literature. I was also the recipient of the Languages Award for French and the Millennium Award for Drama, in recognition of my high performance and dedication to those subjects.

During tenure, we saw an increase in membership of over 100%, with the society putting on more shows than ever before.

I was responsible for the running of social activities, including trips to community gardens, crafts events and treasure hunts. I worked as a part of the team responsible for managing the smooth flow of large numbers of students completing the university registration process. Working with the University marketing team, this was a customer facing role involving giving directions, answering general questions from prospective students, and presenting a positive image of the University.

This involved guiding paying visitors around the attraction, creating an engaging and memorable experience, and answering questions. This was all whilst maintaining authority throughout the tour to ensure that strict deadlines were adhered to. I was also frequently asked to step up and fill in where people were needed, for example by selling tickets in the box office, working on the register in the gift shop, and helping to serve in the café. Working alongside my CEO, I created an SDR function at Zeffy, building out processes, establishing KPI, and creating original sales content. I refined my cold calling and outbound sales skills, and became an expert on Zeffy's outbound prospection process. As the third full time employee in a early stage startup, my full-cycle sales role encompassed prospection, outreach, demos, customer success and account management. I also worked hard to establish sales processes, automating and rewriting our sales content for the Canadian market.

Jul 2022 - Feb 2025In this role, I was an even busier bee, being responsible for a team of 3 full-cycle Business Development Reps (handling inbound, outbound, and product leads) and a Sales Operations Specialist, working to iterate on our outbound strategy while ensuring that we were building solid, scalable, and repeatable processes across the CRM and our wider commercial team.Some highlights:-Increased team output from 1 outbound SQL in Q2 2023, to 16 in Q3 2023, to a minimum of 30 every Q since then (haven't missed monthly targets yet since 2 months after I took over 🤞), with quality pipeline helping the sales team attain 70% YoY growth.-Implemented an outbound solutions-selling approach, with regular coaching, training, and feedback so reps know how to succeed.-Improved team motivation, helping the team actually hit their OTE for the first time since they joined the company.-Worked closely with our sales operations leadership to build out a Target Accounts strategy, and a data infrastructure in HubSpot for tracking, reporting, and sharing intelligence on key accounts.-Worked with our marketing team to turn product leads into a consistent source of pipeline (going from 0% to 22% of our pipeline through Q2 2024).-Helped the team grow from qualification-focused to a fully-fledged full-cycle sales team servicing magicplan's North American SMB segment ($3k-50k in AOV).
