  As an Active Member, I was responsible for maintaining the values of my Fraternity, participating in events/rituals, and assisting brothers in any way possible. As Philanthropy Chairman, I was in charge of planning and running a philanthropic event called “Phi Kap Sundaes”, which benefited Children’s Miracle Network. The event had between 150+ guests and raised over $2,000 for CMN. As Steward I was in charge of maintaining my Fraternity’s kitchen, being the main contact point with our food provider, Greek House Chef’s, delegating cleaning duties to members, and ensuring items such as condiments and eating utensils were adequately stocked. I also had to adjust certain procedures within this role due to the COVID-19 pandemic, such as switching from reusable to disposable silverware, plates, etc. and how we cleaned the kitchen to protect members from COVID-19. As an Associate Member, I completed an educational process which taught me about the history, values, and purpose of my Fraternity.

  As Event Coordinator, I was responsible for planning and running a philanthropic event, “Bar Wars V”, benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event had roughly 50 competitors, 150+ spectators, and raised over $2,000 for St. Jude’s. Some of my responsibilities included filling out applicable paperwork, advertising the event, setting up/cleaning up equipment used, operating a software called “LiftCast” to smoothly run the meet, designing and ordering meet shirts, etc. I successfully planned and ran this charity meet with a months notice, as I filled a vacancy that had unexpectedly occurred.
