Responsible for end to end function of the company.Originally hired to fill a project management role for a multi-year government contract, I worked with the owner to develop the strategic vision for the future of the company beyond that contract. A four-man operation in 2010, was grown into an area leading electrical contracting firm in 2014, employing 20 individuals, and finishing 2013 with over $5,000,000 in gross revenue.I filled many roles traditional to a growing small business. I had responsibility for all sales lead development, project estimating and sales, project management, personnel recruitment and management, strategic planning and business growth strategy development. I wrote and implemented an apprentice development program, a health and safety program and wrote the company handbook. I developed a new retail component, later opening the first retail standby generator store in Northern New Jersey. The generator division would later go on to be a top 10 Generac dealer in the Tristate area. The government contracts division established prior to my arrival and the main focus of the company would grow to become a go-to electrical and fire alarm contractor in support of the US Army at Picatinny Arsenal. I streamlined this division to increase revenues 10 fold over 3 years, closing the company's largest government contract to that date; a fire alarm retrofit on a 750,000 square foot weapons prototyping machine shop. This prevailing wage project was completed under budget and 6.5 weeks ahead of the Army’s predetermined schedule. Show less
