  Conducted literature review for existing Image Captioning approaches, reviewed various codebasesand verified existing state-of-the-art results by using their weights and models.Successfully implemented a baseline, and proposed a semi-supervised approach for image captioning which leveraged unlabeled data for training, and eventually fine tunned it on a specific dataset.Implemented and verified the concept on bird's dataset, and achieved a further 0.5% accuracy in results.
