  Projects: 1) Turn around project- Enhancing throughput of ethane cracking furnaces (15 Nos) from 7.2 TPH to 8.0 TPH.Net Gain : USD 104 Mn/ year in terms of revenue. 2) Sustainability Project: High emissivity coating on furnace’s refractory to increase emissivity ratio of refractory Net Gain : Increased emissivity ratio from 0.4 to 0.8 and Reduced fuel gas consumption from 4.00 Tn/hour per furnace to 3.92 Tn/hour per furnace. 3) Reliability Project: Repaired and reused fractured heat exchangers (08 nos) and commissioned the furnace within 23 days.Opportunity cost: USD 11 Mn4) Contribution to Safety: Periodic ‘Task-based risk identification analysis’ for furnace area. Result: Zero incident of injury/ fatality for 700 days straight.
