    • Turf Terminators

      Aug 2014 - Jun 2015
      Project Coordinator

Turf Terminators was a xeriscaping firm which had performed its first project only several weeks prior to my being brought on board. This firm was formed specifically to provide water conservation to the California drought by replacing individual private lawns with drip irrigation, drought tolerant plantings, and approved ground cover for the value of the State of California and local Water District rebates offered (free lawn replacement). Crews operating in the field went from 5 to 45 and my position in the Project Coordination office went from first-line project coordinator directly under the Chief Operations Officer to training a Project Coordination Team tasked with providing job site materials and coordination of deliveries, to the more technical specialty of becoming area verification, sketch reviewer and project troubleshooter. ZOHO and Salesforce CRM platforms, Google Office Suite, and Google Earth Pro were used extensively. As of this writing, Turf Terminators has transformed over 6,000 individual lawn projects and is diversifying into other areas. Show less
