Supervises Electronics Technicians and Interior Communications Electricians in the maintenance of ship's navigation, RADAR, comunication systems, alarms, sensors, identification systems, and data link systems. Lead project manager of ship's maintenance team, providing the link between the ship and civilian maintenance team for all upgrades and major repairs. Taught component level electronic and system troubleshooting. Developed new curriculum. Trained new instructors. Master Training Specialist qualified. Maintained communications and RADAR equipment. Responsible for component level electronic module repairs.
