Was the opening courtesy clerk for safeway for about three months in a row, and opening cashier a multitude of times, as well as closing CC and Cashier many other timesTrusted with managerial powers in the form of their Key Cards on hundreds of different occasions, including periods where the only manager in the store would go on lunch break while I was both opening and closing. I would occasionally fill in around the other departments too, so I have a very minute (two days) experience in the safeway Deli, one day of experience as a day stocker, and a few days running the Customer Service Booth (With assistance) I was the 2nd most efficient cashier, as calculated by a computer algorithm and posted in the break room, at this location three different months, being beaten each time solely by a manager who had been working at that Safeway location since its opening in 1999.   Standard Cashier duties, such as check for counterfeit, deal tender, bag products, maintain checkstand cleanliness, and assist customers.Very similar to cashiering at Safeway, however, the management were adamant about their staff looking busy the entire time, so we would either wipe down our checkstands or organize/date check candy on our registers in between orders instead of fish for customers.I was their Just4U ambassador on many occasions, meaning I would patrol the store and inform customers about the benefits of using the program. Again, I ranked 2nd as their stores most efficient cashier, only losing 1st place to a Front End Manager who had worked there for longer than I have lived.I was the first front end employee to receive a positive survey at that location in over a year.   From my start until Jan 27th, 2025, I was in charge of P&S. I was responsible for making dynamic shift plans to process 40,000-98,000 packages in a manner of 2.33 hours. Responsibilities included training AAs, ensuring cost efficient head count, and making fast paced, live time decisions to ensure the operation was completed on time within our goals. Starting on Jan 27th, 2025, I moved to managing Sort where I am responsible for managing 400-600 labor hours, staffing critical roles, and making dynamic changes to the labor plan relative to the operations performance in real time to achieve success.
