  Project: Strengthening the Capacity for Play-based Learning; Nairobi-Successfully screened, administered informed consent and enrolled 194 eligible study participants from Makadara Sub-County into the study.-Moderated 18 FGDs with ECD teachers and primary caregivers of children in pre-primary school at Makadara Constituency. -Carried out 24 in-depth interviews with ECD teachers and mothers. -Carried out five Key Informant Interviews with ECD centre managers and Nairobi County Education Officers.-Transcribed ten audio recordings for 10 FGD with parents. -Used NVivo software to analyze transcribed qualitative data.-Documented research processes and compiled weekly reports detailing project progress, challenges faced, and a way forward. -Drafted qualitative data collection work plans and ensured timely and effective dispensation of research deliverables. Show less Project: Nurturing Care for Children with Neurodevelopmental Disabilities; Siaya CountyDuties:-Oversaw qualitative data collection activities; mobilized, screened, and enrolled study participants for In-depth interviews (IDIs).-Coordinated and orchestrated Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with Community Health Volunteers (CHV) and male caregivers.-Facilitated and moderated FGDs; 5 FGDs with the CHVs and 2 FGDs with male primary caregivers.-Supervised five field interviewers during qualitative data collection; organized and conducted 15 Key Informant Interviews with 13 facilities in-charges and two medical superintendents.-Participated in training eight field interviewers on quality assurance and compliance, research ethics, and administering survey tools.-Participated in pre-testing of the research tool; revised the survey tools and updated them accordingly for effective data collection. -Participated in developing a work plan with the research team and supported with logistics for research materials.-Transcribed and translated 15 audio recordings for FGD and 30 audio recordings for IDI.-Documented research processes and compiled weekly reports detailing project progress, challenges faced, and a way forward to ensure the project obtains its objectives.
