The substructure foundations consist of spread footing supported by bored piles built with sheet piles cofferdam and spread footing connected monolithically with steel pipe sheet piles (SPSP) foundations with stud welding. Superstructure is built by form traveler 3~4m cast-in-situ segments in typical balanced cantilever method with extradosed stay cables and props supported/anchored for side spans. Trains will operate at a speed of maximum 320 kmph on an elevated 468km viaduct 10-15m above, 27km underground & 13km at grade. Precast segments are erected by FSLM, SBS, ILM & Balanced Cantilever method.
