As a math tutor, I would spend up to an hour at a time with individuals or pairs of students and learn what they are struggling with in their educations, and then assist them in solving those problems.

  I worked with Cloud Docx to analyze labor-saving strategies in order to create additional profit opportunities. We used hypothesis testing to compare the profitability of products offered by CloudDocx and concluded that the firm was losing capital through an inefficient pricing strategy.

  At Lattente, I work to oversee the daily operations of our busy coffee bar, ensuring all customers receive excellent service and high-quality beverages and food and leave only when satisfied. My role at Lattente goes beyond just barista and food preparation work, however. I currently am the roaster for all of Lattente's coffee and work with Shared Roasting in Clinton Hill in Brooklyn to roast up to 120 kg a month of specialty single-origin coffee per month. I use their machines to roast all of our coffee according to specific roast profiles which highlight the origin characteristics of our coffee.I have also taken on the task of helping to acclimate new hires to the cafe by training them in opening and operating procedures. I work with the team to ensure that we upkeep the strict hygiene standards of the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. I was present while we were inspected for our A and I am proud of the work that we have done together to have a space which creates excellent food and beverages safely for the community. Show less
