All scholars have created several individual and group projects and were instructed on how to correctly document the code on GitHub.• Participated in fireside chats multiple times per week and received a personal mentor for the duration of the academy that worked at Snap. Personalized informational interviews enabled connections with dozens of Snap employees that gave customized advice.• Project manager and back end developer in the creation of the website "Snap Observatory", which uses NASA's Fireball API to inform users of the location and magnitude of fireballs after searching the minimum/maximum date constraints.
