Started as a 7 member team, presently it is a 300 member strong organisation.• We started with 3 clusters in the North Bengaluru area with 50 kids, where we organized SHINE, SMILE and SCREAM sessions which focused on various challenges like child labour, child marriage, health and hygiene, girl education, career counselling, drug abuse, specially-abled kids.• We organized fundraiser events like 'Run for Charity, 'Kick It', and various other events where 150 people participated in a 4km run, and 8 teams registered for Football matches respectively and collected Rs. 50,000 in a year which we used to for buying books, stationery, footwear, etc for the children.• We set up medical camps and arranged for a free medical check-up for all the kids including paediatricians, dentists care, and ophthalmologists.• This helped over 150 children focus on studies and sports which resulted in them getting enrolled in government schools, scoring good marks, and promoting to the next grades.
