      Computational modelling of corrosion inhibitors

A data set was developed by calculating the electronic and molecular structureparameter of large organic molecular set (To the best of our knowledge this is the largest set ofcalculated molecular properties for corrosion inhibitor molecules.), Alpha-testing of the computational design software (non-commercial software) was completed and the domains were found out wheremodel based on molecular properties are applicable to predict corrosion efficiency.

Effectively implemented, improved and tracked all Quality Management Systems of the Unit to bring positive change in product quality, along with developing an environment of acceptance of importance of quality among all stakeholders. All three key Quality matrices viz. Quality index of sensory parameter (MQI), Asthetic parameter (PQRS) and consumer complaints has seen a benchmark improvement during last year. These benchmark improvement has been achieved by launching a 4-LEVEL TASK FORCE. Responsibilities for all 4 level has been assigned as: Level 1 :- Monitoring and finding the focus areas, Level 2:- Identification and implementation of required technical interventions, Level 3:- Identification of capability gap and organize the required training to fill these gaps, Level 4:- Developing systems to make monitoring easy and escalation process fast. Few Key Initiatives are as follow : -Designed shock tests modules to identify system robustness with regards to critical process at shop floor. -Quality systems has been Re-designed as per the requirement of ISO 9001:2015 where Complete risk analysis has been done for factory (Process risk and business risks) and Normal documentation was converted to four level documentation work (L1: IS manual and risk analysis of factory L2: Process documents L3: Work procedures L4: All lists ) Show less Designing and implementation of Processes & Procedures i.e. Logistics planning, resource optimization, production planning, Network & Distribution optimization, and transportation & distribution strategies. Strategy Planning: Annual Logistics Budget Plan, Develop the Logistics structure & distribution channel based on the current & future requirement, Develop & formalize the Logistics Process & SOP’s.Demand planning/ S&OP: Managing Monthly Demand and S&O Planning while building consensus on forecast through Demand-Supply meeting and communicating Demand-Supply PlanCollaborate with sales, Production team, to ensure smooth flow of product supply to achieve the SLAs.Vendor Selection and Development based on price, quality and efficiency. Structured reviews of warehousing, transportation service vendors and Custom handling Agencies. Inventory Management: Regular monitoring and control of inventory norms, defective stock generation and liquidation. Defining & implementing inventory accounting policies. Ensuring Monthly and Annual Physical stock verificationWarehouse Management: Develop & implement Standard Operating Procedures for all operations in warehouse. Maintaining stacking norms, and FIFO implementation. Transportation: Develop plans and procedures for the transportation, Set performance goals, monitoring the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue. Reverse Logistics: Design & evaluate the effectiveness of reverse logistics across the network for all defective returns and re-usable itemsCoordinate with respective stakeholders to achieve benchmark operational performance KPI (service, quality, cost and inventories etc.) Show less This was an induction period of six and half month - Completed Techno Mangerial induction in all five factories of ITC Tobacco division. Various projects were undertaken during induction, details are given below - Infestation has been reduced by taking an project on infestation management where objective matrix has been developed along with visual graphics - Core left over Waste has been reduced by installing the sensors on the packing machines - False rejection from machines has been reduced by analyzing the type 1 and type 2 errors and relating them with the machine parts Show less
