      Trumpet Section Leader Award Band Director - Richard Rollo May 2011 The "Bloop" Mute, A traditional award which began in 1994 by a man named Tom Ditchey. Every year the award gets passed down to whoever the next Trumpet Section Leader is to inherit the award. And after much hard work, practice and dedication, it finally was bequeathed to me in 2011.

      OMEA Solo & Ensemble - Rating I Judge - Max Treier Feb 2011 This was my first time doing a solo for a rated contest because I was really determined to be a great leader for my senior year. I'll never forget that day; made my parents proud, my directors proud and myself as well as I left with a superior rating of 1 out of 5 and received a blue medal.

      Most Improved Athlete Trophy - Cross Country Track Head Coach - Charles Penny 2010 My first Cross Country season wasn't the best experience I've been through but it taught me a lot, made me stronger physically and mentally and it was worth it all in the end. I improved my 3.1 mile time by almost 10 whole minutes that year.
