  Kyle is a principal at Mercadien, P.C., Certified Public Accounts and is a member of the firm’s Nonprofit Services Group. As a principal, Kyle is responsible for overseeing and reviewing audits, reviews, and compilations; documenting systems of internal controls; performing work paper reviews; and preparing financial statements. He specializes in working with clients in the nonprofit sector, long-term care and manufacturing industries and assists them in running their organizations more efficiently.He was recently named to the firm’s Statement on Auditing Standards Task Force, which addresses and interprets pronouncements impacting the financial reporting of organizations. Kyle also has been involved in designing and implementing the automated financial reporting practices at the firm and has led various training programs to teach other associates about the new systems. As a member of the firm’s Audit and Assurance Group, Kyle was part of the team that implemented automated work papers, which standardized procedures and risk-based audit approaches to the firm’s financial service engagements. He also has extensive experience in the preparation of operational analyses, financial forecasts and financial feasibility studies for both for profit and nonprofit, long-term care and multi-housing organizations. He has experience with governmental, nonprofit and commercial audit engagements and has assisted organizations with acquisition, expansion, refinancing and debt financing of governmentally controlled residential, multi-housing, assisted living and nursing facilities.
