Along with classes and my research, I also led several classes as an instructor and facilitated personal learning for undergraduates. As the Research Communications Specialist for the University of Tennessee's Department of Entomology & Plant Pathology, I was in charge of designing their internal website, creating and managing events, organizing and leading their social media platform, and many other tasks.

  As a wildlife tech. contractor for ORNL, I assisted in a myriad of tasks ranging from forestry, forest pest management, aquatic ecology, wildlife ecology, pollinator ecology, and many more. It was key to communicate and work with my team to make sure everyone was taken care of and the goals at hand were accomplished.

  I was a co-instructor for The Wild World of Bugs Camp for Kids U where I taught children of all ages entomology both in the classroom and hands-on. Organizing schedules, creating class itinerary and activities, communication with parents, and more were necessary for this role.
