My research was focused on pollinator ecology in wetlands with a special emphasis on hover flies (Syrphidae) and public outreach.

As the Research Communications Specialist for the University of Tennessee's Department of Entomology & Plant Pathology, I was in charge of designing their internal website, creating and managing events, organizing and leading their social media platform, and many other tasks.

      Wildlife Technician

      As a wildlife tech. contractor for ORNL, I assisted in a myriad of tasks ranging from forestry, forest pest management, aquatic ecology, wildlife ecology, pollinator ecology, and many more. It was key to communicate and work with my team to make sure everyone was taken care of and the goals at hand were accomplished.
